Kinver Freeliners Angling Club

Welcome to Kinver Freeliners Angling Club. We are a private Angling Club which controls the fishing rights to a wide variety of waters ranging including stillwaters, rivers and canals.

Kinver Freeliners AC prides itself on having a series of quality venues for its members to fish. Challenging venues where it’s the thinking angler who catches the most fish. If you want to fish quiet unpressured waters where it is a pleasure to just be there, you’ve come to the right place.

We control the fishing on the Dudmaston Estate near Bridgnorth which is owned by the National Trust. This is the jewel in the crown for the club as it offers spectacular fishing and stunning views. The are three lakes at Dudmaston, the Big Pool, Brim Pool and Seggy Pool. Tench and Carp are the main quarry but big Eels, Pike, Roach, Rudd and Perch are also in residence.

In July 2011 the club took control of the fishing on the 100 acre Chelmarsh Reservoir. This is a stunning reservoir set in the rolling Shropshire countryside between Bridgnorth and Bewdley, near to the village of Highley.

We also control the fishing on two pools at Woodlands Lodge - Tastley Nr Bridgnorth, which contains plenty of silver fish and carp to 20lb+.

We also have the rights to four stretches of the River Severn. Hampton Loade and the nearby Unicorn Fishery have some of the most prolific barbel swims in the Country and earns its reputation as ‘barbel alley’ and fishing is available on a Day Ticket on the bank. We also have two section of the Lower Severn at Kempsey near Worcester and Bushley near Tewkesbury, that although not as prolific as the Middle Severn, holds some very large Barbel, Zander and Carp plus all the normal river species associated with the Lower Severn.

Fishing on Hampton Loade is strictly dawn to dusk only.
